Description

Quick Tire Sealant

Quick is a high-quality tire sealant that works immediately to repair punctures up to 7mm.

Just 80ml of Quick Tire Sealant allows you to secure the tire in the event of a puncture, repairing damage up to 7mm almost instantly. Quick Tire Sealant is designed to remain fluid for up to 7 months, even in tires with thin walls and a small amount of rubber. It can be used with Tubeless, Tubeless Ready and regular tires (provided that it is properly seated on the rim to prevent it from falling off the rim edge and unsealing the tire bead). Quick Tire Sealant can be inflated with Co2 inflator.

For effective puncture resistance, add the required amount to the inside of the tire (table below).

Recommended amount per tire:
- 1.0 "to 2.0" MTB tires, the recommended amount is 60 - 80 ml.
- 2.1 "to 2.5" MTB  tires, the recommended amount is 80 - 100 ml
- 2.6 "to 3.0" MTB tires, the recommended amount is 120 - 150 ml
- Gravel tires recommended quantity 40 - 60 ml
- The recommended amount can be increased for additional protection.

Longer puncture protection.

You can do it like an apothecary or if you are lazy, either way is right.
The sealant works immediately, so there may be a situation that the sealant has already sealed a few damage and you do not even know it and its quantity is insufficient for further protection. It is recommended to check the amount of sealant in the tire every 2-3 months and top it up if necessary.
Or add fresh sealant every 3 months (approx. 30% of the first application to the wheel) and enjoy the ride.

Temperature range.

The sealant remains liquid inside the tire in a temperature range of +40 ° C to -22 ° C. However, it must be borne in mind that long-term use in extreme temperatures may accelerate the aging of the sealant.

Tire sealant application.

The easiest and cleanest way is to apply it with the applicator through the valve. Pour the appropriate amount of sealant into the previously shot tire, install the valve insert and pump it with air.
You can pour the sealant directly into the tire before shooting it onto the rim. We don't recommend this method as incompetent execution can end up in a mess.

Frequently asked questions.

What tires can Quick Tire Sealant be used with?
The sealant can be used with UST, Tubeless, Tubeless Ready and regular tires. In the case of ordinary tires, there may be a problem with the sealing of the tire bead with the rim, in which case the "ghetto tubeless" system should be used.

How much sealant should I use?
Recommended amount per tire:
- 1.0 "to 2.0" MTB tires, the recommended amount is 60 - 80 ml.
- MTB 2.1 "to 2.5" tires, the recommended amount is 80 - 100 ml
- 2.6 "to 3.0" MTB tires, the recommended amount is 120 - 150 ml
- Gravel tires recommended quantity 40 - 60 ml

The above values are to be considered suggested values, the amount of sealant can be adjusted according to the volume of the tire. Greater amounts of sealant may be used to increase protection, but this should not be overstated. More sealant adds bulk and has a negative effect on traction. Using too little sealant will not protect the tire in case of damage.

Can Quick Tire Sealant be mixed with sealants from other manufacturers?
As a rule, we suggest not to do this, but in exceptional cases it can be mixed with sealants based on natural latex. May not be mixed with sealants based on synthetic latex and mechanical sealants.

Can Quick Tire Sealant be used on tubulars or tubes?
If the inner tube or tubular has a removable valve core, a sealant may be used. The recommended amount of sealant is from 30 ml to 60 ml depending on the volume.

Why do I have wet stains on my tire?
Some tires have very thin sidewalls or even microscopic holes, wet stains are a natural sealing process and should resolve once the tire is fully sealed. Nothing to worry about, it doesn't affect the performance of the sealant.

How long will the sealant in my tire last?
The sealant should remain fluid in the tire for 2 to 7 months. It depends on factors such as the ambient temperature, how often you ride, at what temperature you store the bike (optimal temperature + 10 ° C to + 20 ° C), the thickness of the tire wall, the amount of rubber in the tire (more better), the number of punctures sealed. We recommend checking the sealant every 3 months.

What is the shelf life of Quick Tire Sealant?
The sealant can be stored for two years in a tightly closed original container in a cool place without exposure to sunlight. Optimum storage temperature + 10 ° C to + 20 ° C. Of course, you can keep the sealant in a drawer or toolbox, it shouldn't have much effect on its aging.

Can the ammonia content damage the tire or rim?
We use natural latex in the Quick Tire Sealant. When collecting the latex, a small amount of ammonia is added as a stabilizer. An intense odor may appear upon opening the bottle, but this trace amount of ammonia will oxidize over time and the smell will be milder. This small amount of ammonia does not harm the tire and rim. Sealing tape should be used to prevent non-anodized or scratched rim components from oxidation due to moisture.

Will the use of the sealant void the tire warranty?
Quick Tire Sealant will not damage the tire, however we suggest you check the tire manufacturer's guidelines.

Do I have to remove the sealant from the inside of the tire?
We recommend cleaning the tires with liquid sealant if you plan to use them again. Leaving the sealant on will cause vulcanization and difficulties with its subsequent removal. We recommend using water and a cloth for cleaning.

How do I remove the sealant from my clothes?
In case of contact with clothing, immediately rinse the area with cold water and do not allow the sealant to dry. We also recommend washing with surface-active detergent as soon as possible. Unfortunately, a piece of clothing that has been stained once will most likely remain so.

Is Quick Tire Sealnant compatible with CO2?
Pumps with CO2 cartridges are best used in emergency racing situations. However, we recommend that you replace the CO2 after driving and replace it with regular air. Long term exposure to CO2 may shorten sealant life.
