The key housing is made of aluminum, which gives it a low weight. Device tolerance is 4% according to UNI EN ISO 6789: 2004. Accuracy is guaranteed with 5000 cycles (clicks), then the key should be recalibrated. Calibration is performed by Effetto Mariposa by sending the key via a distributor or directly. Calibration costs 35 € plus shipping. After the device has been calibrated, 5000 cycles can be performed again with a tolerance of 4%.
The device is temperature resistant from -20 C to +100 C, however, at low temperatures, the grease may freeze or become liquid at high temperatures. Before using the key, click the key several times on the smallest setting. The grease used to lubricate the wrench has very good operating parameters, ranging from -20 C to + 90 C, so it is recommended to restart it after a long period of non-use of the wrench exposed to extreme temperatures.
